Position Overview:
The Medical Practitioner is an integral part of CNS OccMed both in our Lititz, PA location and on-site with the mobile clinical team. This individual provides the Medical Examination components for DOT examinations, OSHA examinations, and PA School Bus Exams, first aid and healthcare treatment, and workers compensation claim treatment and examination.
Essential Functions and Duties include:
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide DOT physical examinations per FMCSA guidelines and expectations
- Provide OSHA physicals, including spirometry and audiology testing as needed
- Evaluation and treatment plan execution for workers’ compensation claims
- First aid and health care treatment for patients and clients within the scope of occupational medicine
Secondary/Back-Up Support Responsibilities
- DOT drug and alcohol testing as needed
- Administration and follow-up as needed

- FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner (CME)
- Workers’ Compensation exam and assessment experience
- Preference is given to physicians with one or both: FAA examination certification and Civil Surgeon certification (Immigration examinations)
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office and medical clinic as well as an On-Site Mobile Health Clinic.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a part-time position.
- 8-16 hours/week
- Tuesdays and/or Thursdays weekly
- Day Shift and/or Evening Shift
Required Education and Experience:
- NRCME certification (Required)
- USCIS Civil Surgeon certification (Preferred)
- Pennsylvania MD or DO licensure (Required)
Compensation:
$100/hr.
