Position Overview:

The Medical Practitioner is an integral part of CNS OccMed both in our Lititz, PA location and on-site with the mobile clinical team. This individual provides the Medical Examination components for DOT examinations, OSHA examinations, first aid and healthcare treatment and workers compensation claim treatment and examination.

Essential Functions and Duties include:

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide DOT physical examinations per FMCSA guidelines and expectations
• Provide OSHA physicals, including respiratory and audiometric testing as needed
• Evaluation and treatment plan execution for workers compensation claims
• First aid and health care treatment for patients and clients within the scope of occupational medicine

Secondary/Back-Up Support Responsibilities

• DOT drug and alcohol testing as needed
• Administration and follow-up as needed

Competencies and Skills necessary to succeed in this role:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner (CME)
• Workers Compensation exam and assessment experience

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office and medical clinic as well as an On-Site Mobile Health Clinic.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a part-time position.
• 16-24 hours/week
• Day Shift and/or Evening Shift

Required Education and Experience:

• NRCME certification (Required)

Compensation:

$80.00/hr.
