Full scope in-house (and mobile medical) capabilities to perform a wide range of OSHA physicals and testing, as well as full scope DOT and Non-DOT services highlight a few areas of expertise already in place. Additionally, this team is one of the leaders in Pennsylvania COVID response, having administered over 30,000 COVID vaccines and completed over 5,000 COVID rapid, PCR, and antibody tests the group is diversified, well rounded, and poised to serve in every sector of healthcare.

The Medical Practitioner is an integral part of CNS OccMed both in our Delaware location and on-site with the mobile clinical team. This individual provides the Medical Examination components for Workers Compensation, DOT examinations, OSHA examinations, and PA School Bus Exams.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Provide DOT physical examinations per FMCSA guidelines and expectations
  • Provide Pennsylvania School Bus examinations per state guidelines and expectations
  • Provide OSHA physicals, including spirometry and audiology testing as needed
  • Evaluation and treatment plan execution for workers compensation claims
  • First aid and health care treatment for patients and clients within the scope of occupational medicine

Secondary/Back-Up Support

This position will have the following support role responsibilities:

  • DOT drug and alcohol testing as needed
  • Administration and follow-up as needed

  • FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner (CME) 
  • Knowledge of regulation and standards of credentialing groups (Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation Boards)  
  • Unrestricted credentialing clearance 
  • Licensed to practice in-state of hire, Board Certified in Occupational Medicine Preferred 
  • Experience reading X-rays (initial wet-read) 
  • Suturing competency
