Position Overview:
The Licensing Specialist II will contribute to the Licensing Center organization, workflows, and team projects. The specialist will serve as the main point of contact for IRP titling and registration, and Authorities (US DOT number and MC number). The specialist will bring a high level of expertise and knowledge to the department and stay current on industry changes in rules and regulations. This team member will independently manage time and client base.
Essential Functions and Duties include:
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meeting with clients for IRP licensing and other licensing needs
- Main point of contact for IRP titling and registrations
- Processing Authorities (US DOT number and MC number)
- New and renewals
- Managing clients’ expiring registration renewals
- Manage cases within Licensing and Owner-Operator accounts
- Cross-sell insurance (pass off leads successfully) with NIS; and ELDs (Electronic Logging Device; pass off leads successfully to Hours-of-Service Specialist)
Secondary/ Back-Up Support and Responsibilities and Duties:
- Processing licensing tasks from CNS specialists and directly from clients and customers:
- Auto Titling and Licensing
- General notarization
- Licensing specific services to individual states
- Other duties as assigned; special projects

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and standard office software such as Microsoft Office and company-specific CRM systems.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is full-time or part-time. Full-time hours would be Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Part-time hours are TBD
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Compensation:
$18 – 20 per hour
