Account Executive (Insurance/Risk Management)

Position Overview:

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for achieving revenue goals by bringing in new accounts/business across insurance and compliance divisions of CNS, and overall risk management assessment with clients. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining relationships with clients and potential clients most importantly, marketing and sales, communicating quotes and answering questions/educating clients on insurance requirements and risk management and mitigation factors.

Essential Functions and Duties include:

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Selling commercial insurance policies and compliance packages.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with current clients.
    • Traveling/sales calls on location.
    • Representing CNS Companies at trade shows and industry events.
    • Proactively research and qualify leads to develop a pipeline of potential clients.
    • Manage a referral system to grow leads and referrals from current customers.
    • Maintaining CRM system with accurate and current client information

Secondary/Back-Up Support Responsibilities:

  • Cross-promotion of additional services of CNS (driver training, occupational health)
    • Participating in the achievement of company goals

  • PA Property and Casualty Insurance license is preferred, but not required (to be earned within the first 90 days of employment)

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and standard office software such as Microsoft Office and company-specific CRM systems. To be considered for this position, qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel to clients and industry events within the state of Pennsylvania and surrounding states.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • PA Property and Casualty Insurance Licensure

Compensation:

  • Exempt; annual salary of $45,000, and commission package
